EXECUTIVE SUMARY: The study was undertaken to design an Economic Mobile Classroom. The researchers decided to use container van as a material for a classroom because it has many characteristics that made them convenient to use. The container can be transported to any place where it is needed. The study covered whether the design was similar to the conventional classroom, serviceable, transferable, safe and more economical. Based on the design and evaluation, the researchers found out that the Economic Mobile is a good substitute for the construction of a new classroom. Based on its design, serviceability and safety, it was moderately accepted, and also on its transferability and its economical value, it was accepted. After the study has been conducted, the researchers recommended that it must determine the actual performance of container van classroom through the construction of the design unit, and also the structural testing of the unit may be required to arrive at a clearer data on the number of years that the container van may still be considered as structural sounds as a serviceable unit.
