Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management University of Rizal System-Morong 2018

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was conducted during the academic year 2017-2018. It aimed to determine the perception of Grade 11 and 12 students of selected schools in rizal towards hotel and restaurant management course. The subject of this study are the students of grade 11 and 12 in selected schools in rizal. The researchers found out the insights of the selected students on grade 11 and 12 to evaluate who are the possible HRM students. The respondents were chosen due to their preparation for college while schools were chosen for these are the most accessible schools for the researchers. The respondents of the study were the ten (10) grade 11 and ten (10) grade 12 students in each selected schools in rizal. The selected schools were angono national high school, vicente madrigal national high school in binangonan rizal, bernardo f. san juan national high school in cardona rizal, morong national high school, pantay national high school in Teresa and renaissance school of science and technology in moorng, rizal. The study was limited to respondent's profile in terms of age, sex, grade level and school and their perception towards hotel and restaurant management course in terms of; curriculum, facilities, activities, national hospitality qualification and job opportunities. Based on the data gathered, majority of the respondents are from younger age ranges from 16-18 years old. Most of the respondents are females. There is equal number of respondents from each grade levels, grade 11 and 12 from the selected schools in rizal. Also, this research has proven that the perception of grade 11 & 12 students was positive towards hotel and restaurant management course in selected schools in rizal with respect to different aspects: curriculum, facilities, activities, national hospitality qualification and job opportunities.
