As a response of the DepEd to continue education amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, it establishes the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (DepEd order 12, series of 2020) where different distance learning delivery modalities are introduced with self-learning modules as primary learning resources. This research study dealt with the development and validation of Enhancement Activities on selected topics in Science 10 specifically Unit 3: Living Things and their Environment in Tagumpay National High School aligned to the DepEd Order mentioned above during the school year 2020-2021. The study used mixed method research design procedure for collecting, analyzing, and mixing both quantitative and qualitative research and methods in a single study to understand a research problem. In this research design, Explanatory Sequential Design type of mixed method was used. To analyze the data gathered, mean and standard deviation were used to measure mean scores of the experimental and the control group. Dependent t- test was used to find out the significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean scores of the experimental and the control group while independent t-test was used to find out the significant difference between the posttest mean scores of the both experimental and the control group. To determine the feedback of the student respondents, focused group discussion was conducted in an online manner and thematic analysis was used to enumerate the students' answers.
