The study aimed to identify the effects of teachers' extra-curricular assignments on students' performance in terms of delivery of lessons, assessment of students and class advising. It also sought to discover the significant relationship between the effects of teachers' extra-curricular assignments and students' performance. Lastly, the study aimed to determine the challenges and opportunities encountered by the teachers with extra-curricular assignments. The respondents of this study are 20 teachers in Tagumpay National High School who handle two or more extra-curricular assignments in SY 2021-2022 Descriptive correlation design and qualitative approach were carried out in this study. Data were primanly taken from questionnaire-checklist/survey form, examination and interview. The consolidated data were subjected to statistical treatment and analysis. Based on the results of the study, there was no significant relationship between the teachers' extra-curricular assignments and students' performance. Basically, teachers are given extra-curricular assignments based on the field of specialization. Teachers could still perform classroom teaching at their level best regardless of the number of extra-curricular assignments they have. Indeed, students perform well in their classes.
