This study was designed to know the contributory factors pertinent to continued progress of the National Book Store in Montalban Town Center. There were 110 respondents who took random test.
Descriptive research was employed using questionnaire-checklist in gathering data. The data gathered were tallied, tabulated, analyzed and interpreted using the appropriate statistical treatment. To determine the profile of the respondents, frequency, percentage and rank distribution were used. Weighted mean was utilized to identify the Contributory Factors pertinent to Continued Progress of National Book Store in Montalban Town Center. One-way ANOVA was applied to determine the difference between the profiles of the respondents and the factors affecting the continued progress of National Book Store in terms of age, and Civil Status
From the gathered data, the following were the summarized findings. On the profile of the respondents, in terms of age most of the respondents belonged to age bracket 18-22 years old with a frequency of 60 or 54.55 percent. It was followed by those whose age bracket in 23-27 years old with a frequency of 15 or 13 64percent. Then age bracket 38-42 with a frequency of 14 or 12.73 percent. Age bracket 28-32 followed with a frequency of 12 or 10.91 percent. Next was age bracket 33-37 with the frequency of 8 or 7.27 percent. Lastly was age bracket 43-47 with a frequency of 1 or 0.51 percent. In terms of Civil Status, majority of the respondents were single with a frequency of 86 or 78.18 Percent. Next were those who were married with frequency of 20 or 18.18 percent Then were 4or 3.64 percent widow.
