The study aimed to determine the awareness of the local residents of the programs offered by the Local Government of Rodriguez, Rizal. It was conducted during the school year 2012-2013.
The subjects of the study were fifteen (15) local residents of each barangay in Rodriguez, Rizal that politically subdivided into eleven (11) barangays (8 urbans and 3 rural areas). Specifically, Balite, Burgos, Geronimo, Macabud, Mangahan, Mascap, Puray, Rosario, San Isidro, San Jose, and San Rafael.
For statistical treatment of data, the frequency, percentage distribution, and ranking were used to determine the profile of the respondents in terns of age, sex, educational attainment and civil status. Mean was utilized to determine the offered by Local Government Unit of Rodriguez, Rizal. One way ANOVA was employed to determine the significant difference on the extent of implementation of programs offered by the local government of Rodriguez Rizal as perceived by the respondents when they are grouped according to their profile.
From the analysis and interpretation of data, the obtained result was summarized as follows: In terms of age, majority of the respondents were belonged to the age bracket 21 years old with a frequency of 16 or 9.7 percent. In terms of sex, female obtained the highest frequency of 89 or 53.9 percent. In terms of educational attainment, college graduate got a frequency of 49 or 29.7 percent. And, in terms of civil status, single got the highest frequency of 88 or 53.3 percent.
