PROJECT SUMMARY
The project entitled "FPRME Hog Fattening Production" was managed by
the OP student, Ramon B. Lopez. It was conducted inside the URS-Rodriguez Campus,
Amity Ville San Jose Rodriguez, Rizal.
The project was limiled only to one (1l) cycle of operation. It was sturied on
July 1, 2010 and ended on November 16, 2010. The project was composed ot five (5)
heads of stocks, two (2) were males and three (3) were females eossbreeds of pietrain
and duroc breeds of three months old. Initial weights of the stocks were obtained before
transferring to the pen. The initial weight of the stocks were ten (10) kilogram for the
stock no. 1, no.2 was eleven (1 1) kilogran. no.3 was fwelve (12) kilogram, no.4 was nine
(9) kilogram and the stock no.5 was ten (10} kilogram The stocks came from Bgy
Camachile Doña Remedos Innsdad San eimonte, Hulacan and was purchased of two
thousand pesos (P 2,000.00) per head.
The preparation of pigpen was done in two (2) days before the transferring of
stocks. The pen was disintected wIth chiorine soiution to ciiminate harmtul bacteria and
microorganisms that can cause diseases to stocks. The supplies and materials were
purchased al nearby market and agricultural outlets
The proponent used fifteen (15) sacks of commercial feeds with the total amount
of seventeen thousand six hundred sixty five pesos (17, 665.00). Feeding was done three
tines a day, one in the morning, noon time, and late in the afternoon. Deworming was
done two (2) times to control the internal parasites among the stocks.
