"Teaching reading is not easy to handle in different level and type of students. Existing strategies are identified and tested as effective tools in teaching reading. There are old practices in school that is being used by the teachers but to consider the evolution and changes in learning of the students, teaching strategies must also go on with the changes purposively through the progress and upbringing the better teaching-learning process. As a future teacher, we developed alternative strategies that we think will meet the objectives and the challenges of the 21®* century teaching education skills. We come up with this study to bring out the competency in teaching and to evaluate our work piece by the English teachers as the foundation and more knowledgeable persons when it comes in teaching. And so we want to help not only the teachers but also the learners to easily cope up with the selected topics in reading included in their 3^** grading period where they have difficulty to understand." -- Abstract
