The researcher aimed to determine the English Competency of College Freshmen at Colegio de Montalban, measuring the for MACRO Skills and may eventually propose a tutorial session with those who will be found needing assistance in the four skills-Listening Speaking Reading, and Writing The subject of the study wiil be the college freshmen of Colegio de Montalban enrolled in Bachelor of Elementary Education (General), Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BS CPE) Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) Bachelor of Science in Education major in Science (BSed SCI) Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) having a total population of one thousand four hundred twenty-four (1.424) Fourteen (14) respondents will be coming from each program of Colegio de Montalban Therefore a total of eighty-four (34) respondents wiil be participating in this study and they will randomly be selected during the first semester of academic year 2020-2021
To identify the competencies of the respondents, the researcher administered tests and interviews to the respondents for Macro skills to determine the aspect of the four Macro skills are considered the weak points of the respondents, the Mean Scores and Standard Deviations were computed for each test.
