The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of video-based learning to the grammatical performance of Second Year English Major students of the University of Rizal System - Rodriguez Campus during the A.Y. 2023-2024.

The study aimed to answer the research questions on the grammatical performance of the respondents with the use of pretest and posttest in terms of subject-verb agreement, tenses of the verbs, correct word use, pronoun usage, and connectors and if there is a significant difference between the two tests. The significant difference between the posttest mean scores of the two experimental groups and controlled group was also determined. The study utilized their adopted research instrument of the pretest-posttest design to determine the grammatical performance of the respondents before and after their exposure to video-based Anaming The respondents of the study were randomly selected English mejor students of the University of Rizal System - Rodriguez Campus enrolled this AY 2023-2024. Based on the summary of findings, the control group had a preteet mean score with the highest average score of 16 pornis in connectors followed by pronoxin and correct word usage (15 points), subject-verb agreement, and verb tenses (13 points). The posttest mean scores showed the highest average score of 17 points in connectors, followed by correct word usage (15.7) points with subject-verb agreement (14 points). The experimental group had a pretest mean score with the highest average under two (2) variables with the same 16 points of correct word usage and connectors, followed by pronoun usage (14 points) and subject-verb agreement tenses (11 points). The posttest mean scores showed the highest average score in connectors (18 points), followed by correct word usage (16.6 points), tenses of the verb (15 points), and subject-verb agreement (14 points)

The prefest score of the control group revealed S1 (Student 1), with the highest score of 88 and the lowest score of 64 out of 100 items from S4 (Student 4), while the posttest score from S1 (Student 1) with the highest score of 88 and the lowest score of 29 scores from S10 (Student 10). The pretest score of the control group revealed S27 (Student 27), with the highest score of 79 and the lowest score of 63 out of 100 items from S29 (Student 29), While the posttest score from 526 (Student 26) with the highest score of 85 and the lowest score of 78 acores from $16 & 819 (Student 16 & 10)

The highest average score of 79.4 was shown by the posttest mean scores of the individuals who participated in the experiment. The experimental group and the control group had a difference of 3.07 points in terms of their posttest mean scores, with the control group having a mean score of 75.53
