This study determined the level of acceptability of the developed improvised panel board for basic electricity. This study was conducted during School Year 2016-2017. Whereas there were twenty respondents participated in this study from Carlos "Botong" Francisco Memorial National High School, Dr. Vivencio V. Villamayor National High School and TESDA Cainta. Also, they were grouped according to their expertise and profession. A questionnaire - checklist was used to gather the needed data.
The study used method particularly descriptive developmental method utilizing the researchers-made questionnaire-checklist in determining the acceptability of the improvised panel board. The percentage and frequency was used to determine the profile of the respondents in terms of expertise. Mean and standard deviation were used to determine the acceptability of the improvised panel board with regards to Ergonomic Design, Usability, Efficiency, Suitability, and Safety & Maintenance. To accept improvised panel board with regards to ergonomic objective, both electrical experts and TLE teachers strongly agreed that the improvised panel board is very much acceptable, it implies that the ergonomic design of the improvised panel board is workable as a teaching materials and the design is resembling of the actual industrial set-up. For the usability, both electrical experts and TLE teachers strongly agreed that the improvised panel board is very much acceptable, it implies that the improvised panel board is very usable in teaching and performing various activities in electrical wiring. For the efficiency, as assessed by both electrical experts and TLE teachers, they strongly agreed that the improvised panel board is very much acceptable, it implies that the efficiency of the improvised panel board is easy to operate and can do well in all wiring task. For the suitability, both electrical experts and TLE teachers strongly agreed that the improvised panel board is very much acceptable, it implies that the improvised panel board is suitable in applying as learning materials and all sorts of wiring activities. And lastly for the safety and maintenance, both electrical experts and TLE teachers strongly agreed that the improvised panel board is very much acceptable, and implies that the improvised panel board is not dangerous to operate and easy to upkeep.
Both TLE teachers and experts strongly agreed about the design of the improvised panel board is very much accepted as regarded to the ergonomic design, usability, efficiency, suitability, safety, and maintenance, which implies that the improvised panel board possesses the characteristics, of a good instructional material.
Both the TESDA experts & TLE Teachers respondents' evaluate on the developed improvised panel board is highly acceptable thus the null hypothesis is accepted.
