This study aimed to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of Computer Training to the secretaries in Government Offices at Quezon City. It was conducted in the two company (1) Department of agriculture (2) National Food Authority with the total of 80 respondents. They were randomly selected.
The study used descriptive survey method of research utilizing questionnaire-checklist which was divided in to three parts; Profile of the respondent, effective and adequate of the computer training to the secretaries of two company and significant difference as to the adequacy and effectiveness of computer trainings to the secretaries in the government offices. The data gathered were tallied, computed, interpreted using the appropriate statistical treatment wherein frequency and percentage distribution were used to determine the profile of the secretaries in terms of age, length of service, educational attainment, number and type of computer trainings attended to. Mean was utilized to
secretaries in terms of work efficiency, productivity andflexibility when the respondents were grouped according to their profile. The p-value in terms of educational attainment and age was less than 05 thus the null hypothesis was rejected there for there was no significant difference between the adequacies of the computer trainings to the secretaries as perceived by the respondents when they were grouped. In terms of work efficiency and productivity under effectiveness the p-values in terms of age and educational attainment were less than .05 level of significant the null hypothesis were rejected while in terms of length of service, number of computer trainings, types of computer trainings the p-values are greater than .05 level of significant the null hypothesis was failed to be rejected.
There for there was no significant difference between the perception of the respondents
on the effectiveness of computer trainings to the secretaries. In terms of flexibility when the respondents were grouped according to their profile.
Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions were arrived at:
Most of the respondents have computer trainings relevant to the demands of their work. Computer trainings of the secretaries were found adequate and effective in terms of work
efficiency, productivity and flexibility.
From the consolidated findings and conclusions the following recommendations are hereby offered:Government Offices should consider educational attainment in giving positions. They should have modern technology to help them do their daily routine work and task. Secretariesshould have at least computer training before entering to the work to make their work easier. They should be provided at least three times a year with different computer trainings. Researchers could conduct similar study using other possible variables

In terms of flexibility of adequacy the total average was mean 4.22verbally interpreted much adequacy. The following topped among them teaches trainees to be resourceful and dependable with a mean of 4.55 verbally interpreted very much effective. The following, however, inculcates open mindedness to traineeswith means of 4.02 respectively they were all verbally interpreted much adequate. In terms of work efficiency of effectiveness the total average was mean 4.21 verbally interpreted much effective. The following topped among them assures efficiency in using updated program, had means of 4.26 respectively verbally interpreted very much effective. However, imparts interest to ones work with a means of 4.10 respectively verbally interpreted much effective. In terms of productivity, on effectiveness the total average was mean 4.29 verbally interpreted very much effective. Top among them was fasts track their work with the mean of 4.37was verbally interpreted very much effective. Lastly makes the personnel become conscious of deadlines with a mean of 4.17 verbally interpreted much effective. In terms of flexibility of effectiveness the total average mean were 4.30 verbally interpreted very much effective. Top among them was Imparts resourcefulness and dependability with means of 4.86, respectively verbally interpreted very much effective. Lastly drives personnel to be open minded to their work with a mean of 4.12 verbally interpreted much effective.
Since the p-value was greater than 05 level of significant the null hypothesis sas failed to be rejected, thus, there was no significant difference between the perceptions of the respondents on the adequacy of the computer trainings to the
know the relevance of the adequacy and effectiveness of computer training to the secretaries in terms of work efficiency, productivity and flexibility. p-value was applied to determine the mean of the significant difference as to the adequacy and effectiveness of computer trainings to the secretaries in government offices.
Based on the data gathered the following findings were obtained. With regards to the profile of the respondents in terms of age, most of them belonged to age bracket of 22-28 with a frequency of 23 or 28.75. In terms Length of Service, majority of the respondents had been serving the agency for 1-5 years with a frequency of 30 or 37.5 percent. In terms Educational attainment there was only 1 or 1.2 percent undergraduate while the rest were all college graduates with a frequency of 79 or 98.89. In terms Number of Computer Trainings there was only 1 or 1.2 percent who had the highest frequency of 24 computer trainings while the lowest was I availed by 11 secretaries or 1.8 percent. In terms Type of Computer Trainings, a frequency of 26 or 32.55 percent had attended seminar on Microsoft office. There were 38 or 49.9 percent who attended Microsoft power point while there were 14 or 17.55 percent had attended Microsoft excel.
In terms of work efficiency of adequacy the total average mean was 4.28 verbally interpreted very much adequate. Top among the items under adequacy were encourages trainees to be more attentive and interestedwith means of 4.33, respectively they were all verbally interpreted very much adequate. Meanwhile updates to trainees the new programs had a mean of 4.22 verbally interpreted much adequate.
