The study aimed to know the level of awareness of Business graduating students on the Online Recruitment System. The respondents were the 150 graduating student from the College of Business, School Year 2010-2011.
This study utilized the descriptive method of research using questionnaire-checklist as the main instrument in gathering data.
The obtained results from the study were tallied, computed and interpreted using the appropriate statistical treatment. The frequency, percentage and rank distribution were used to determine the profile of the respondents. To know the Level of Awareness of the business graduating students on the Online Recruitment System weighted mean was used. To determine the level of the acceptability of the awareness of the students for the online recruitment system ANOVA was employed.
Based on the data gathered the following findings were obtained, on the Profile of the respondents, it was found out that in terms of sex females outnumbered males wherein the former got a frequency of 166 or 77.33 percent while the latter was 34 or 22.67 percent; in terms of age most of the respondents belonged to age bracket of 19-20 with a frequency of 79 or 52.67 percent; in terms of course, BSBA had the highest frequency of 95 or 63.33 percent, the BSOA had 21 or 14 percent and the DCS had 34 or 22.63 percent. The average mean was 3.86 verbally interpreted much aware; in terms of accessibility, the average mean was 3.74 verbally interpreted much aware.
On the significant difference, it revealed that there was no significant difference between the level of awareness of the Business Graduating Students on the Online Recruitment System and the profile of the respondents in terms of sex and age but not in terms of course.
In view of the findings drawn, the following recommendations were offered: Business Graduating Students, since they have high level of awareness they are encouraged to use the modern way of applying for a job which is the Online Recruitment System so that they can use the easiest and fastest way in seeking for an employment. Future Researchers, they are encouraged to conduct the same study using other variables in order for them to gain additional knowledge and be conscious on the modern way of Recruitment. School Administration, they should continue updating their same study curriculum particularly into other courses technology so that their students are competitive to other graduates in business.
