The study also aimed to assess the level of acceptability of the developed digital reading material. This will be a valuable resource for teachers and future educators looking to create engaging instructional materials and foster an enjoyable learning environment. In order to address the needs of today's classrooms and assess the ability of learners to read in English, it is necessary to conduct research. In addition, learners benefited the most from digital reading material that was closely related to the exercises they were working on. The study was conducted in selected public Elementary Schools in Cardona, Rizal during the school year 2023-2024 in Mariano C. San Juan Elementary School (MCSJES), Looc Elementary School (LES), and Patunhay-Calahan Elementary School (Pat-Cal ES) Descriptive-developmental method was employed in this study. The researchers used this method to identify the level of acceptability of the developed Digital Reading Material for Grade 1 Learners. The respondents were selected through quota sampling technique that utilizes two groups of respondents, they were fifteen (15) Grade 1 teachers and fifteen (15) ICT experts. This study also used an adapted modified questionnaire-checklist to gather necessary data. The study successfully developed a Digital Reading Material for Grade 1 learners aimed at addressing reading difficulties and enhancing the reading experience. The study's findings demonstrate that the developed material is very much acceptable to both Grade 1 teachers and ICT experts. The research highlighted specific challenges faced by learners, particularly in auditory aspects and comprehension. Suggestions for improvement included using different letter capitalizations to emphasize certain points, increasing audio volume for clarity, and removing visible audio/speaker logos for a better user experience which the researchers incorporate in their material after. Overall, the digital reading material shows great potential as an effective teaching tool, offering valuable insights for creating engaging and enjoyable instructional materials in modern classrooms. This research underscores the importance of integrating technology into educational resources to meet the needs of today's learners and improve their reading skills.
