Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis "Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management" URS 2024 Summary: The primary aim of this study is to assess the community resource and business need of Barangay Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal. It utilizes the descriptive method of research using a questionnaire checklist as the data-gathering instrument and involves 320 respondents who assesses the community resource and business needs in Barangay Sampaloc Tanay, Rizal. The data gathered was statistically treated using percentage, weighted mean, F-value, and P-value (Analysis of Variance) to determine the significance difference between the educational attainment, employment status and years of residency on the level of needs of identified business in the community. It revealed that the majority of the highly evident business resources in the community as evaluated by the respondents are as follows: in terms of financial resources is the availability and accessibility of grants and loans; in terms of human resources is the availability of educated or trained individuals in various fields; in terms of physical resources accessibility is the transportation facilities (e.g, roads, highways, airports) and reliability and cost of electricity and water supply were in the community. It also divulged that majority of the highly needed businesses in the community are as follows: attorney/notary public, auto repair shop, bakery/pastry shop, beauty salon/barbershop, grocery store/supermarket, medical diagnostic clinic, pharmacy/drugstore, printing/photocopying services, tailoring/sewing services and water refilling station. Furthermore, all of the variables used in this study got a verbal interpretation of highly evident in terms of resources and highly needed in terms of available business which infers that the LGU can utilize all the resources within the community and promote to the investors and local entrepreneurs the businesses that is needed in the community. Finally, the educational attainment and physical resources revealed a significant difference pertaining to the financial resources, human resources and business. On the contrary, with the physical resources, there is no significant difference. However, in terms of employment status, there is significant difference pertaining to the financial resources, human resources, physical resources and business.
