ABSTRACT The study aimed to determine the status of K-12 curriculum for grade 5 in district II-C, City Schools Division of Antipolo. Descriptive-evaluative Research Design was utilized, Documentary Analysis and researchers-made Questionnaire Checklist was used to gather responses. The questionnaire checklist was validated by ten (10) experts, five (5) from graduate school, four (4) from the master teachers of the public elementary Division of Antipolo and two (1) from the school head of Division of Antipolo who the key personnel are involved in the study. The study was conducted in the City Schools Division of Antipolo. The respondents were selected as teachers and school heads in public elementary schools in Antipolo with a sample size of 47 grade V teachers and 5 school heads, a simple random sampling technique was utilized in the study. The research only assessed the status of implementation of k to 12 curriculum for grade 5 in public elementary school in District II-C, City Schools Division of Antipolo. The teacher-respondents of elementary public schools City Schools Division of Antipolo were mostly females whose age ranges from 46 years old and above. Majority of them have master's degree with 16 years and above of experience. The result showed that there is no sufficient evidence that there was a significant relationship on the perception of the respondents on the status of K-12 Curriculum with respect to facilities, teachers, learners, instructional materials, and monitoring and evaluation, and content of the curriculum. Moreover, the status of the K-12 curriculum for Grade V in terms of facilities, teachers, learners, instructional materials, monitoring and evaluation, and content of the curriculum has a very high rating which means that the implementation of the K-12 curriculum for Grade V was successful and satisfactory in the Division of Antipolo as perceived by the respondents. The new curriculum compels each student to be enthusiastic about the workforce, and the scheme empowers students to make a choice on their own. Based on the summary of findings and conclusion drawn: First, the school heads may provide several trainings and seminars for teachers to make sure that they possess the necessary competencies and skills to deal with students and encourage new educators to pursue graduate studies as part of professional development. Second, the School Administration may continuously enhance the school facilities, laboratory, and innovate instructional materials for K to 12 curriculum to make sure that learning was supported among the students. Third, the School Administration and Local Government Unit may collaborate to provide additional facilities to address the shortage of classrooms and allocate resources for instructional materials such as books and modules in District II-C, Division of Antipolo. Fourth, the School Heads, Stakeholders, and government may conduct a well-monitored implementation of the K to 12 Curriculum specifically on the Grade 5 level, may be done by the academe, the government, and other stakeholders. Full involvement of various/external stakeholders may also be encouraged in the full implementation of the K to 12 curricula. Lastly, The Department of Education and other educational agencies may adopt this research for the improvement of the K to 12 curricula for Grade 5.
