study specifically determined risk management practices in digital wallet' cybersecurity threats and regulatory compliance in Binangonan, Rizal the
implementation of risk management strategies such as multi-factor
authentication (MA), transaction monitoring, and adherence to financial regulations. Using a descriptive research design, data were gathered through survey questionnaires distributed to selected digital wallet users in Binangonan, Rizal. The results were analyzed using frequency distribution and one-way ANOVA to identify significant behavioral patterns and gaps in risk awareness.
Findings indicate that while most users are cautious in verifying transaction details and maintaining account confidentiality, the adoption of MFA remains low and awareness of evolving financial regulations is limited. The study concludes that although basic risk management practices are in place, there is a need for enhanced user education and stronger enforcement of advanced
security measures to ensure safer digital financial transactions.
