Thesis Bachelor of Technology Major in Electrical Technology University of Rizal System-Morong 2024
The study entitled, “Single Axis Rotating Spherical Solar Power” was conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong Campus located at Sumulong St. Barangay San Juan Morong, Rizal during the school year 2023- 2024. This study aimed to design and develop Single Axis Rotating Spherical Solar Power, perform try-out and revisions, evaluate the acceptability of the project in terms of functional suitability, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, and maintainability on the developed Single Axis Rotating Spherical Solar Power as evaluated by two groups of respondents. Developmental, and descriptive methods were used this method because these provide a systematic process that aid in conducting the study. A researchers made questionnaire checklist was utilized to determine the level of acceptability of the device in terms of variables mentioned. There was fifty (50) respondents consisting of ten (10) Electrical and Electronics Technology experts and forty (40) end-users. Try-out and revision was also done by the researchers during design and developed of the Single Axis Rotating Spherical Solar Power. The findings from the design and developed, try-out and revision showed that the developed device in terms of functional suitability, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, and maintainability are all “Very much acceptable” as a perceived by the experts and end-users. The designed and development of The Single Axis Rotating Spherical Solar Power system was found to efficiently capture and convert solar energy due to its low amperage panel. The system's flexibility in positioning solar panels and spherical design increased sunlight exposure, leading to improved energy generation. Performance tests showed a significant increase in energy output, contributing to better charging performance. In try out and revision. Overall, the system was functional, reliable, and acceptable by respondents.
