English teachers utilized various ways in conducting film viewing in literature to develop students' comprehension skills. These include: assessment or quiz, explaining ideas of the selection, giving guide questions to students, giving assignments on the summary of the story and their reaction, and discussioris.

The most common problems encountered in conducting film viewing mainly involve the lack of facilities and quality equipment such as speakers and projectors. Lighting in the classroom was also included which makes the screen brighter and images less visible.

Based on the findings of the study, the following recommendations were obtained:

The School Administration should provide ideas or information to develop the strengths and unfold the weaknesses of the program in their respective schools. The result of this study will provide a basis for setting goals and objectives that achieved and in defining certain strategies to promote the enhancement of film viewing for the comprehension skills in literature of Grade 9 students.

Teachers of English should maximize their ability to motivate their students to engage in leaming by means of film viewing to enhance their comprehension skills and provide more activities and often use films or videos as tool in teaching literature to catch the attention and interest of the learners as well as enhance their comprehension skills.

Future Teachers should broaden their ideas on various teaching strategies in making learning and comprehending more effective, specifically through using films and other multimedia resources in teaching.
