This study aimed to determine the Online Learning Experiences of Third
Year Students in University of Rizal System Rodriguez Campus.
The study was limited only for College of Education third year students.
The participants of the study were Bachelor of secondary Education Third Year Students. The researchers used self-constructed questionnaire and normally done through Google form interview to the profile of the participants and their
online learning experiences. The researcher studied the Online Learning
Experiences of Third Year Students in University of Rizal System Rodriguez
Campus. This study was conducted in Rodriguez, Rizal University of Rizal
System- Rodriguez Campus. This study involved the Bachelor of Secondary Education students of the third year in College of Education. The Period of data gathering for this study covered within first and second semester of school year 2020 to 2021. The Researcher used descriptive method of research, also was
designed research to gather relevant information about the study. The study utilized qualitative research to help describe the situation and the online experiences.
From the gathered data, the following findings were summarized as follows: Majority of the participants of this study were female who were both smartphone and laptop users. Most participants are using Cable/ Wi-Fi Users.
From the gathered data, the following conclusions were elicited; online learning experiences are more beneficial for those who both have laptop and
smartphones, and with Wi-Fi connection in terms of unlimited quality features. time efficiency and low costness. However some with different situation doesn't experience same benefits due to some factors like quality of the gadget used,
location that affects internet connection, financial status and their environment.
As for the participant's suggestions, the researchers concluded that the LMS used by the institution matters how the participants perceived their learning process on which were more comfortable, much efficient, cheaper and effective for them.
In view of the conclusions made on the basis of the findings of this study,
the following recommendations are given: School/ University. They can produce
its own Learning Management System (LMS) that will be more beneficial to every courses with more features that will make the online learning experience more
into active participation and adaptive in order to maintain its quality policy.
Professors of URS Rodriguez campus in Social Studies. They should give some adjustments and a just consideration in their students in their online classes for the improvement of learning as it is also highly recommended to try other kinds of LMS that can be useful to their course subject and lear more about different features in it. To the Students. They must be more aware on how to adapt and
adjust in order to overcome the challenges that they encounter in their online learning. To the Parents. They must give full support to the learning necessities of their children and forever guidance of all throughout on their studies. To the Future Researchers. They must see the relevance of this study and used this as
their reference guide in their future research with regards to the online learning experience faced by Social Studies.
