The study aimed to determine the level of acceptability of the multisensory manipulatives in Mathematics 3 learners during the School Year 2022-2023. To determine its acceptability in terms of its appeal to the senses, the material has been presented to the experts to ensure that it's visually appealing, has a sense of touch, and is tangible and kinesthetic. To test the materials' durability and usefulness, the researchers brought the multisensory manipulatives into the school and presented it to the learners, who then used the multisensory manipulatives under the supervision of the researchers and teachers. The experts scrutinized the User's Guide's functionality by means of its content and its purpose, which is to instruct users on how to properly use the multisensory manipulatives. Furthermore, a presentation on how to use the materials was done through a live demonstration in the actual classroom set up by the researchers with the participation of the learners as well as experts who validated the multisensory manipulative in Mathematics 3.The study used a purposive sampling technique having thirty (30) teachers of Binangonan Elementary School in Layunan-Batingan Binangonan Rizal as experts who evaluated the developed material. The descriptive and developmental method was used. Before constructing the material, the researchers utilized a pre-test to identify the least-mastered skills of the grade 3 students. Researcher-made questionnaire checklist was also utilized in gathering data. The data gathered were tabulated and interpreted. Qualitative discussions were used to discuss the process of development of the multisensory manipulatives as well as to discuss the comments and suggestions of the teacher-respondents to improve the developed material. Weighted mean was used to determine the acceptability of the multisensory manipulatives in teaching Mathematics 3 as perceived by the thirty (30) Mathematics teachers in Binangonan Elementary School. The multisensory manipulatives were developed following different procedures. As the researchers computed in terms of the different variables, the appeal of its senses gained an overall mean of 4.96, durability and usefulness gained an overall mean of 4.92 and User’s guide obtained an overall mean of 4.97 which are all interpreted as “Very Much Acceptable” Lastly, the composite result of the different variables obtained the grand mean of 4.95 and verbally interpreted as “Very Much Acceptable.” Based on the result of the study, it was concluded that the researcher’s developed multisensory manipulatives were applicable and appropriate for Grade 3 learners and can be used as an instructional material to help strengthen and develop learner’s numeracy skills given that manipulatives help in facilitating comprehension of visual concept through the use of visuals, and helped engage students in leaning. The multisensory manipulatives developed for teaching Mathematics 3 are regarded to be exceptionally suited in terms of their appeal to the senses, durability and utility, and User's Guide based on the findings made and conclusions drawn. Additionally, this demonstrated the significance and practical importance of the multisensory manipulatives developed by the researchers for Grade 3 learners. Furthermore, the researchers suggested the following to future researchers who would carry out a study like this one: first, improve the developed multisensory manipulatives by adding and modifying some components to improve and for greater efficacy and applicability of the material. Second, test the effectiveness of the developed multisensory manipulatives and lastly conduct research focusing on other competencies in Mathematics.
