Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Office Administration Major in Office Management University of Rizal System, Rodriguez, Rizal 2018 Summary: The objective of the study is to determine the evaluation of On-the-Job Training Program of Diploma in Computer Secretarial and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration major in Office Management. The respondents of the study were students from Diploma in Computer Secretarial and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration major in Office Management of University of Rizal System, Rodriguez campus. It was conducted during the School Year 2017-2018 administered and supervised the interview with the use of validated guide questions. From the gathered data, the following findings were drawn: On the profile of the respondents in terms of sex, female got the highest frequency of 20 or 67 percent. In terms of company/agency, most of the respondents took their On-the-Job Training program in Quezon City Hall and St. Matteus Hospital, Land Transportation Office with 3 or 10 percent each. There were 2 or 6.6 percent in each of the following agencies: by Philippine. Coconut Authority, Department of Agrarian Reform, Land Registration Authority, East Avenue Medical Hospital, Office of the Ombudsman, Ynares Hospital, Rodriguez Municipality, National Housing Authority, Kasiglahan, Comelec, B.C Querpo Corporation, while in Department of Interior and Local Government had only 1 or 4 percent OJT. On how the respondents described the knowledge they acquired through the OJT program in terms of grooming, they learned how to wear proper attire in the office. In terms of tactfulness, they talked with their superiors and co-workers properly. In terms of interest of work, they developed in them commitment. In terms of cooperation, they were motivated to be cooperative to their officemates. In terms of initiative, they accomplished their work even not supervised. In terms of adaptability, they learned how to be flexible. In terms of promptness, they became efficient in submitting papers to concerned authorities. In terms of emotional stability, they learned how to deal with whatever events that came along the way wether good or bad. In terms of deportment, modeling of what an idea employees should be best exemplified by them. In terms of filing, being organized with the papers given was shown by them. In terms of Oral Communication, they learned how to transact business to their clients. In terms of Intellectual ability they became more critical. Hence, they knew how to weigh things before airing to decision. On the problems met by the DCS and SOA students on their On-the-Job Training program, they revealed that discrimination, financial problem and multitasking were the most encountered problems. The following conclusions are drawn based on the findings: Government agencies are more accessible to Diploma in Computer Secretarial (DCS), Bachelor of Science in Office Administration major in Office Management •(BSOA) students. On-the-Job Training Program offered by the University is significant to the holistic development of the student trainees and graduates. Problems met by the student-trainees on their On-the-Job Training Program are discrimination, financial problems and multi-tasking. With the given findings of the study and cited conclusions, the following recommendations are hereby presented: Companies should not burden the student-trainees when it comes to paper works, it must be one task at a time. Also, may the companies provide financial or fare transportation assistance to their trainees. Trainees/ students may apply the knowledge learned and gained from the on-the-job training program on their daily lives to sustain development. Future researchers may consider this study using other variables. University of Rizal System may collaborate with the companies/agencies for the students not to encounter difficulties when looking for offices to work at, the university can just recommend the students to the companies/agencies they collaborated with.
