This study aimed to analyze the movie "Wonder Woman' by Patty Jenkins The researchers answer to the questions presented in this study was based on their interpretations to the whole context of the movie
This was a pure research study, qualitative in nature, which was focused on literary analysis using critical judgment based on a fair and balanced assessment of situations or events, people and things. The researchers maximized the use of the idea and conceptualizing, use of summaries, film reviews, commentaries, and websites in order to come up with authentic insights and non-biased analysis presented at the end of this study
In general, the movie "WONDER WOMAN' was an interesting movie for it gathered a lot of reviews from different critics. It served as an icon not only to the feminist but also to those women who had been criticized by their gender and to their ability as a woman. In this world were discrimination has not yet been diminished watching this movie could help them cope with the struggles that they have which was one of the purpose of the author in directing this movie
It has a lot of lessons that viewers could relate into which has various twists of scenes that made it more interesting. Basically this movie was a compilation of scenes where women have been empowered and have been given a role to lead a superhero movie which made her superior to men. This movie has a theme of heroism where the humanity needs a superhero to sav them from the wrath of an enemy but this heroism doesn't focused on the ma character but also to those civilian people who had given their best to sa mankind. The title of the movie expressed that the content of it will be about a woman superhero like not any other movies that showed women just portraying as a leading lady from a movie. Based from the title itself it already created an impact to the people that it will be a great movie that would empower women's role in the movie industry and by that it gotten a lot of criticism when it succeeded to be one of feminist icon in the history. But more than empowering women it showed a lot of scenes that was overly suppressing the roles of men which have been found out and would be presented by the researchers in this study.
The movie Wonder Woman 2017 was considered as a fiction because it showed scenes that are not based on reality and was considered as a motivational movie for all the women. This movie was not only made for women but it is also intended for all the men to show them that they should view women as a strong individual and not someone who would always be in a role of someone being saved. And of course, in addition, the said movie was recommended for those people most especially for all the women who were degraded by men not to be discouraged but to fight for their rights and is recommended also for those men who viewed women as a weak individual to look for what a women could offer in the society.
