Online resources: Dissertation note: Undergraduate Feasibility Study Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management University of Rizal System Binangonan 2024 Summary: The "Production of Fruit and Vegetable based Chicharon in Binangonan, Rizal" aimed to explore the feasibility and viability of the study, as well as to determine the profitability and sustainability of the business. Chichacrack will offer a healthier option of the snack food, replacing pork rinds with fruit peels of banana and mango, including vegetable skins of carrot and pumpkin. it will have a flavor option of original, cheese, and barbeque to cater the demand of potential customers and possible resellers. The proposed business will be in the form of sole proprietorship, consisting (a) an owner, who will be in charge during the pre-operation of the business, securing a capital of P100,000, registering legal requirements, & acquiring tools and materials; (b) production staffs, who will be designated as production head and production assistant, making the chicharon and producing the product, and (c) a cashier, who will be handling transactions. The organization will use the simplest form of organizational structure during the operation of the business. The researchers conducted market research to obtain an adequate perspective into the demand of fruit and vegetable based chicharon. To understand the target market, the respondents were segmented demographically based on gender, age, and income. Moreso, the proponents determined the market demand where it identified the right product to offer (variants and flavors) and discovered the right places to distribute (schools, cafes, and pasalubong stores) the packs of chicharon An in-depth analysis was done using the data gathered, coming up with (1) an insight on the demand and supply situation, where the proposed business will have a market share of 32%: (2) a wise pricing approach, in which the product will be priced at P99, through the utlization of penetration, cost-plus, and charm pricing strategies; and (3) an effective marketing program, with its promotions through social media, content, and word-of-mouth marketing, including its distributions through direct and indirect channels. The product will be named "Chichacrack," which derived from the words •chicharon" and "crackling". The location for the production will be in San Carlos, Binangonan, Rizal. In addition, the working days and hours will be from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. producing 48 units on a daily basis, amounting to 960 units on a monthly basis. Chichacrack will avail an 8% tax rate. It will be applicable for the owner, based on Revenue Memorandum Order No. 23-218, who is a self-employer and a sole proprietor of a small enterprise. A forecast on the financial predicted that in the fifth year of business operation, the return on investment will increase by 16% compared to the first year. It is expected that the proposed business will fully recover its initial investment within the next one to three years. This indicated the overall financial performance and financial condition of Chichacrack, which may deem favorable. It is also favorable when it comes to the social desirability as it will contribute to the local goverment, related industry, local household, and local workforce of the Municipality of Binangonan, including the Province of Rizal Latterly, the proponents cited a number of projected problems with corresponding solutions, in which it will help the business on how to face challenges and overcome obstacles it may encounter in the future.
