Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Electronics Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study conducted to develop a Photovoltaic and Power Bank Interface Circuit. It was conducted during the school year 2015-2016. This study used the developmental and descriptive method of research since its major purpose is to determine the acceptability of the developed Photovoltaic and Power Bank Interface Circuit. In evaluating this study two (2) groups of respondents were considered, the students and the faculty to test the acceptability of the and Power Bank Interface Circuit, the following were considered; the first group consisted of five (5) experts composed of electronics professor who have knowledge, skills, and thorough understanding on circuit and its operation. The other group consisted of ten (10) respondents, the students of the college of industrial technology. The and Power Bank Interface Circuit was designed and constructed out of locally available materials which consisted of Power Bank and Solar panel. On the level of acceptability of the Photovoltaic and Power Bank Interface Circuit, in terms of design, functionality, usefulness, safety and maintenance it was found extremely accepted. The evaluations made by the two groups of respondents have no significant difference as proven statistically. Based on the summary of findings, as to the significant difference on the acceptability of the Photovoltaic and Power Bank Interface Circuit in terms of usefulness, functionality, safety features and maintenance, it is concluded that there is no significant difference on the level of its acceptability. School administrations must encourage and support the students to design and construct to more improve the physical appearance of the entitled product and to solve come lack of instructional materials.
