Experimental Research Methodology
Thesis BSF University of Rizal System. Cardona 2003
The study contributed to the lower level to increase the production in culturing catfish. The study centered on the Effects of Different Sediment Load in the Growth of African Catfish. Vernier caliper and weighing scale were used; Analyzing the substrate component of the soil was done by the Bureau of Soils. The experiment has two treatments, the controlled and experimental treatments. The culture period covered 49 days of experimentation. A fourteen day sampling interval was done to monitor the weight and length of the fish. From the result analyzed using F-test, it showed that the computed value of 12.92 in terms of weight and 37.85 in terms of length is higher than the tabular value of 5.32, which led to the rejection of the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the effects of different sediment loads on the growth of African Catfish.
