The study also aimed to analysed that different bacteria that might be harbouring in the said artesian well. Study was conducted at the University of Rizal System Morong Campus during the A.Y. 2017-2018. The actual study and the collection of water were executed in an island along Laguna de bay specifically in Navotas where the artesian wells are the source of water for daily utilization. The study used the experimental descriptive method where the comparison of parameters in determining the potability of water in an island along Laguna de bay was determined in terms of subjecting the water samples in laboratory analysis, which tells that the study was descriptive in nature but the data was experimentally obtained through the laboratory procedures in assessing the potability of the water samples. The study used sterilized 120 ml glass bottle for the collection of artesian well water that underwent bacteriological analysis and sterilized polyethylene bottle was used for the collection of artesian well water that underwent elemental analysis. A cooler with blocks of ice was used as container of the collected water samples to preserve the freshness of needed content of the samples. Each member of the team was designated to collect such water in the assigned artesian well to ensure simultaneous collection. After collecting water samples these were brought to the URS Food Laboratory testing center for Bacteriological Analysis and to the Natural Science Research Institute of University of the Philippines in Diliman Quezon city for Elemental Analysis of the artesian wells along Laguna de bay. Subsequently as the laboratory tests were all finished the needed data were obtained, analyzed and interpreted. The significant difference of each parameters was compared from the standard given by Philippine National Standard for Drinking Water of 2017 to know the status of the analyzed artesian wells. The result showed that in heterotropic plate count, total coliform and fecal coliform the majority of Bacteriological analysis of water samples have failed the standard value of the Philippine National Standards of Drinking Water (PNSDW) of 2017, but in terms of Elemental Analysis the collected water samples passed the limits set by PNSDW for Cr while for Cd and Pb it is higher than the limit sets by PNSDW of 2017. Based on the finding, the study concluded that the tap water from artesian wells in an island along Laguna de Bay does not conform to the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water of 2017 and is therefore, not safe to use ER -
