The study is intended for small scale industrial use. Materials that are used are either readily available in the market or recycled. The study which is limited to the design, development and acceptability of the paint filling and mixing machine was conducted at the University of Rizal System-Morong during the second semester of school year 2017-2018. The output of the study consist of using a software programming language and corresponding hardware application. The use of FPWIN pro 5 and the configured electronic circuit module was given emphasis in the construction stage to facilitate the expected output of the paint filling and mixing machine. Also the researchers have provided a container for three primary colors (red, blue, yellow) of latex paint for filling and one container for water to clean the tube and can after using. Each paint container is provided a solenoid valve to control and modulate the flow of fluids. Each solenoid valve are all connected to the PLC program for control. After flowing through the solenoid valve, it will then enter into the water pump to increase the speed flow of the fluid and finally flows down to the filling can. After the filling process, the PLC will allow the servo motor starting the mixing rod to move downward and start the mixing process. After mixing, the PLC will open the solenoid valve of water for the cleaning process. Based on the findings, the study concluded that the developed can be utilized as paint filling and mixing machine for small scale businesses. And both acceptability test and effectiveness was very much accepted to be used in paint filling and mixing process. On the results of the study, the researchers highly recommend for further study to be conducted to improve the operation of the machine and develop the design to make the paint filler and mixer machine more effective. Also, fully automated system may be done by the future researchers to avoid personal effort by the user and add devices that will enhance the mixing process of the system. And finally, additional mixing of color variety may added to system and not limited to preset colors only ER -
