Santos hunjhun P Mtra arnd Raymond H. inCentes The project was financed by Nico Mra The ain ceive f tis proect is to attain knowledge out of the project and 1o gain ergetience on the said entergrise The proponents also want to genergte inconne to gain at ieast 20 % RO and to encourage the community to engage with the same erterprina The oroject was located at the premises of Uriversity of Rizal System Rodriguez campustwas started last July 08, 2014 and was terrminated on Novemter 20. 2014 The projact was operated in one (1) Cycle oniy The first activity done was selecting the site that is suitabie for the exection of the project Ater the ste selecion, disinfecticn of the pigpen was done tokill the harmu microorganis present in the pen that can cause disease and infecion that could affect the heaith of the stocks The stocks uSed were omposed of eigrt heads of fatteners fve (5) females and three (3) males, a cKOSSres of Landrace and Duroc This was purchased in backyard raisers in ozagaray, Bulacan which cost to thousand one hundred pesos (P2, 100.00) ach wts a total anount of suteen thousand eight hundred pesos (P 16. You sent The system of feeding practiced for the whole duration of the project was restricted manner where feeds were given in a limited amount. The feeds used were pelet type of commercial feeds. This was given in the morning (8 00 am) in the aftermoon (12: 00 pm) and late in the afternoon (5. 00 pm) The first feed Used was pre- starter with a daily intake of 0.5 kilo per head. The total feed consumed for pre- starter was one hundred (100) kilos. Gradual shifting of feeds from pre- starter to starter was done by the proponents in order not to upset the normal feeding behaviour of the hogs. On the 23° days, 70% of pre- starter and 30% starter was given. On the next day, 50% of both pre- starter and starter were given, followed by 30% pre- starter and 70% starter. Finally on the 26" day. 100% starter feeds was given with a daily feed intake of 0.6 kilo per head and was given within thirteen (13) days and after another thirteen (13) days an increase of 0.2 kilo per head was added to its daily intake which resulted to one (1) kilo per head. The total feed consumed for starter was one hundred fifty six (156) kilos. Similar to the shifting of pre- starter to starter changing of feeds from starter to grower was done gradually. On the first shifting, 70% starter and 309% grower was given, next shifting was 50% of both starter and grower, then last shiting was 30% starter and 70% grower. On the 65"" day, grower feeds were Given with a daily intake of 15 kilos per head which was consumed within 18 days Orn the rext twenty (20) days a daily intake of 1.9 kilos was given, then 2 kilos per head was given for another 30 days. The total feed consumed in grower was one thousand (1, 000) kilos
