This study aimed to determine the competencies among grade 9 students; an input to curriculum enchancement of Southville 8C Natinal High School .

The researcher use descriptive and evaluative method to determine the competencies in Mathemathics among grade 9 students which is an input tocorriculm enchancement.

The respondents of the study were selected throuh strategized random simpling. The resercher selected 100 grade 9 students to determine their level of competencies in mathematics.

The study was conducted and the researchrs made used of test questionnaire which contains of mathematics lessons from grade 9. The researchers used rubics the determined if the students' competencies in mathematics improved.
