The objective of this study is to explore the workplace conflicts among office workers. The researchers wanted to scrutinize the participants perceptions and description of workplace conflicts they encountered and identify their strategy to handle them when they occur. Conflict in the workplace is inevitable and it can happen in any firm where individuals come from diverse backgrounds, beliefs and have different priorities. Workplace conflict includes several other types; it can be challenging to distinguish it from them, involving employees, managers, owners, or other people present in a workplace.

The researchers used phenomenological interview approaches to gather information about the phenomena. A total of seven participants from the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills were involved in this study. The participants were composed of team leaders, new employees and old employees who possess from a minimum of two years and a maximum of twenty-two years' experience. The study was conducted through face-to-face interviews at the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills to get the data. In addition, they used recording devices for transcription and documentation, later on interpreted and analyzed all the data by using thematic analysis and described the data one by one accordingly. After the transcription of the data, they implemented member checking to validate the findings in order to ensure the responses of the participants were accurate and resonate to their answers and to ensure that the outcomes of the findings were honest reflections of their experiences.

The findings are summarized as follows: Based on the gathered data the following findings were drawn. Excessive workload, Task conflict and Noisy Environment are the conflicts encountered by the participants at their workplace.

Excessive Workload are the few kinds of conflicts at work encountered by different participants from the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills. Task conflicts as the most common types of conflicts they encountered at work and the reason why they encountered conflict at work were due to the noisy environment they worked in. Participants of the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills stated effective communication, effective leadership, and collaboration are the most important ways or methods to resolve conflict at the workplace. Effective communication, according to workers at the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills, is crucial for resolving issues or disagreements that may arise at work. One method that team leaders employ to deal with conflicts that occur at workplace is effective leadership. Employees of the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills used collaboration as a strategy to reduce conflicts at workplace. Effective management and positive relationships were suggested by the participants of the Barangay Batasan Hills office as strategies to mitigate the effects of conflicts. In an organization, effective management is crucial since it helps to decrease the effects of conflicts. Additionally, effective management is essential because without it, it probably won't be able to offer customers high-quality services.

To summarize the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn. The employees of the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills encountered conflicts and it affected individual workers; they described it as an inevitable part of their usual work. The participant also stated that they experienced difficult situation or scenario in dealing with conflicts at the workplace. This revealed that workplace conflict is truly inevitable and can really affect individual workers. The employees of the Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills have evidently managed the conflicts they have encountered at the workplace with the used of different kinds of methods including: Effective communication, Effective management, and collaboration. It was confirmed that their strategy in handling conflicts at work has been helpful for them to resolve or lessen it. The results suggested that having an effective management and effective relationships with colleagues can helped to individual mitigate the effect of conflicts at the workplace.

Based on the findings of the study and formulated conclusions, the researchers made the following recommendations. Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills, they can refer to this study to explore the kinds, common types, and reason of conflicts that the office workers described at their workplace and to help workers to managed or mitigate the effect of conflicts that they encountered at their workplace. Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills Team Leaders, they can refer to this study to be aware of conflicts that arise in their workplace and to better handle the situation or scenario that they faces in their workplace. Office of the Barangay Batasan Hills Team Members. they can improve their management skills in resolving conflicts they encountered at work by communication and being open to everyone. It allows them to develop efficient strategies, therefore, to achieve a better working condition. Future searchers, the next generation of researchers can refer to this study as a reference guide for their in-depth exploration on resolving conflicts among office workers.
