One hundred fifty (150) were taken as respondents from the families who lived in different barangays of Rodriguez Rizal. The questionnaire- checklist was used to gather the needed data. The results were tabulated and statistical treatment was applied. Frequency and Percentage Distribution were used to show the profile of the respondents in terms of Age, Sex, Civil Status, Barangay and Educational Attainment. Weighted mean was used to get the respondents level of awareness on the dengue prevention program of Rodriguez Rizal. To determine if there is a significant difference in the respondents' level of awareness on the dengue prevention program of Rodriguez Rizal when they are grouped according to the profile, one way ANOVA was used. Based on the profile of the respondents in terms of age, majority of the respondents are 23.33 percent 18 and below years old. In terms of sex, majority of the respondent are 70.00 percent female. In terms of civil status, majority of the respondents are 64.00 percent single. In terms of barangay, majority of the respondents were 78.67 percent which come from barangay San Jose. In terms of educational attainment, majority of the respondents were 65.33 percent high school graduate. From the data gathered the following findings were drawn: the average mean out of 150 respondents in terms of awareness in dengue disease is 4.31 with the verbal interpretation of HA (highly aware), In terms of awareness in dengue prevention program the average mean is 4.16 with the verbal interpretation of A (aware). In terms of awareness in dengue reported cases the average mean is 3.27 with the verbal interpretation of MA (moderately aware). In terms of age on the awareness of dengue disease, the computed p-value is less than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was rejected. Awareness on dengue prevention program the computed p-value 0.045 is less than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis is rejected. Awareness on dengue reported cases the computed p-value is 0.000 is less than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis is rejected. In terms of sex on the awareness of dengue disease the computed p-value 0.564 is greater than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. Awareness on dengue prevention program the computed p-value 0.758 is greater than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. Awareness on dengue reported cases the computed p-value is 0.255 is greater than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. In terms of civil status on the awareness on dengue disease the computed p-value 0.512 is greater than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. Awareness on dengue prevention program the computed p-value 0.002 less than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis is rejected. Awareness on dengue reported cases the computed -value 0.025 less than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was rejected. In terms of barangay on the awareness of dengue disease the computed p-value 0.899 is greater than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. Awareness on dengue prevention program the computed p-value 0.789 is greater than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. Awareness on dengue reported cases the computed p-value is 0.953 is greater than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. In terms of educational attainment on the awareness on dengue disease the computed p-value 0.036 is less than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was rejected. Awareness on dengue prevention program the computed p-value 0.095 less than 05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was failed to reject. Awareness on dengue reported cases the computed-value 0.000 less than .05 level of significance, the null hypothesis was rejected. In view of the findings, the following conclusions were arrived at: The respondents are aware on the Dengue Prevention Program of Rodriguez Rizal. There is a significant difference in the respondent's level of awareness on Dengue Prevention Program of Rodriguez Rizal in terms of Age, Civil Status and Educational Attainment. There is no significant difference in the respondent's level of awareness on Dengue Prevention Program of Rodriguez Rizal in terms of Sex and Barangay. Based on the drawn conclusions, the following recommendations are being offered: This study should serve as a guide and reference that give enough information for the Dengue Coordinator of the Municipal Health Center of Rodriguez Rizal to uplift or urge the campaign and Dengue Prevention Program and to acquire the high Level of Awareness on the Dengue Prevention Program of Rodriguez Rizal. The Residence of every barangay of Rodriguez should become more aware on Dengue, Dengue Prevention Program and Reported Cases of Dengue in Rodriguez Rizal. The Municipal Coordinators should be able to assess the needs of the residents to enhance and become aware on the dengue prevention program. The result of this study should serve as a guide to the Dengue Coordinators of Municipal Health Center of Rodriguez Rizal in the upliftment of their knowledge by providing their residents with relevant information.
