There were 20 respondents. They were purposely selected. This was conducted during School Year 2018-2019 The descriptive qualitative study was utilized to determine the cathartic expressions most uttered by the pupils in schools. The data were gathered through an interview guide answered by the selected pupils. From the gathered data, the following were the findings drawn. More males had less control in uttering their emotions through cathartic expressions. They commonly uttered some cathartic expressions when they were confronting their enemies, relieving the stress, terrified and surprised were "tangina, gago, malandi, bobo, hayop, maitim siya, tanga, baliw, putik, epal, pakyu, mamatay ka na, sana makarma, magutom ka sana, and makulam sana papa mo" The coping mechanisms of the pupils in controlling the extreme emotions were by covering and tapping their mouth, playing with their playmates, praying and some of them were by just ignoring those things that make them feel uncomfortable. From the stated findings, the following conclusions were drawn. Male pupils have less control in uttering their emotions through cathartic expressions Pupils most uttered are "tangina and gago" in confronting their enemies, dealing with their stresses, being surprised and terrified. Pupils manage to control their emotions by just ignoring them. In the light of the findings and the conclusions, it is recommended the students to be conscious on the things they will say and do.
