TI - Environmental Responsibilities And Waste Management Practices Of College Of Science Students: Marife S. Solmeron ... et al.. PY - 2024/// N1 - Thesis N2 - The Study Aimed To Determine The Level Of Environmental Responsibilities And Extent Of Waste Management Practices Of The Selected College Of Science Students In University Of Rizal System Morong In The School Year 2024-2025. The Purpose Of This Research Was To Determine The Environmental Responsibilities And Waste Management Practices Among College Of Science Students. A Questionnaire-Checklist Was Distributed To Two Hundred (200) Students From The College Of Science Including Bachelor Of Science In Biology, Bachelor Of Science In Computer Science, Bachelor In Human Services, Bachelor Of Science In Mathematics, Bachelor Of Science In Psychology. This Study Help Students How To Properly Segregate And How To Be Responsible In The Process Of Reuse, Recycling, And Recovery. And Also The Zero Waste. Zero Waste Promotes Not Only Reuse, Recycling And Conversational Programs, But Also And More Importantly, Emphasize Sustainability By Considering The Entire Life-Cycle Of Products, Processes And Systems. For The Analysis Of Gathering Data, The Following Statistical Treatment Was Used. To Determine The Profile Of The College Of Science Students, Frequency, Percentage And Rank Distribution Were Applied. To Determine The Level Of Environmental Responsibilities With Respect To The Different Aspects, Mean Was Used. To Determine The Extent Of Waste Management Practices Of College Of Science Students With Respect To The Different Aspects Such As Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Mean Was Used. To Determine The Significant Difference Between Environmental Responsibilities With Respect To The Given Aspects And The Profile Of The Respondents, One Way Analysis Of Variance (Anova) Was Used. To Determine The Significant Difference Between Waste Management Practices With Respect To The Given Aspects And The Profile Of The College Of Science Students, One Way Analysis Of Variance (Anova) Was Used. To Determine The Significant Relationship Between Environmental Responsibilities And Waste Management Practices Of College Of Science Students, Pearson-R Was Used. Based On The Summary Of Findings, The Following Conclusions Are Drawn. There Are More Female College Of Science Students, 19-20 Years Old, 14,999 Monthly Family Income, 3 Rd Year Students, And Bachelor Of Science In Psychology Program. Environmental Responsibilities Such As Climate Change Is Average Conducted While Pollution And Material Recovery Are High Conducted And Plants And Trees Propagation Is Very High Conducted. The Extent Of Waste Management Practices On Reduce, Reuse, And Recycle Are Often. Personal Information Of College Of Science Students Does Contribute To The Level Of Environmental Responsibilities In Terms Of Sex The Significant Was Climate Change And Pollution And In Terms Of Age Is Material Recovery Proceed To Monthly Family Income The Significant Was Climate Change And Material Recovery Fallowed By Program Enrolled The Significant Is Plants And Trees Propagation. For Does Not Contribute In Terms Year Level Are All Aspect . The Extent Of Waste Management Practices Is Not Affected By The Personal Background Of College Of Science Students. Based On The Summary Findings The Following Conclusions Are Drawn. It Can Be Noted That Sex And Monthly Family Income Play Important Roles In The Environmental Responsibilities Of College Students. Generally, Females Tend To Be More Responsible, And Higher Monthly Family Income Also Contributes To Greater Environmental Responsibility. All College Students Regardless Of Sex, Age, Monthly Family Income, Year Level And Program Enrolled Are Engaged In Different Waste Management Practices. It Is Because They Are Already Aware Of The Negative Effect Of Being Irresponsible Citizens. Environmental Responsibilities Can Be Proven By Engaging In Routine/ Good Waste Management Practices. Educational Institution Is Encouraged To Conduct Programs And Activities Related To Environmental Responsibilities And Waste Management Practices For College Students.
