Thesis
This research reiterates the analysis of the waiting line or queue and waiting time of the customers at the registrar's office, utilizing the appropriate queueing model system to determine the behavior of the queue and the efficiency of the transaction services. The study explores the observation regarding the arrivals and departures of the customers, how the arrival patterns differ from each week, and the variability that affects the queueing management. The summary of results presented the calculated parameters, which include the arrival and service rate of the customers arriving and waiting to be served in the queue, along with the extensive components involving the calculation of the average number of customers in the waiting line, the average number of customers in the system, including those who wait in the queue, the average waiting time of the customers in the queue, and the average time spent in the system. The thorough calculation of the server utilization factor determines the intensity in the working process of the server in Window 1, and also, the probability of having zero customers in the system indicates the percentage of how the system is being idled. The study further investigates the pertinent queueing model to minimize the waiting time of the customers and managing the queue length. Additionally, this research requires a greater extent with regard to analyzing other related queueing systems to ascertain a suitable queueing model and to improve the field and efficiency of the queueing management system.
