This study focused on determining the Socio-Physical Attributes of a Tourism Officer in the Selected Local Government Units in Tanay, Taytay, Antipolo and Angono. The researchers used the descriptive method utilizing the survey technique. The subject of the study included the Tourism Officers and staffs of the local tourism office composed of 10 respondents in Antipolo, 5 respondents in Tanay, 8 respondents in Taytay and 7 respondents in Angono having a total of 30 respondents. Simple random sampling was used in getting the number of the respondents. The profile of the respondents constituted under the age bracket of 31 years old and above; 17 male and 13 female; college graduates of HRM, and from Tagalog region. Majority of the respondents are staff member of tourism office in the selected Local Government Units of Antipolo, Tanay, Taytay and Angono. The result of the study described a strong agreement on social attributes of a tourism officer followed by cultural and physical attributes. Specifically on social attributes, a tourism officer need to communicate effectively with staff, customers and others. Likewise, tourism officers are able to demonstrate willingness and ability to lead others and to possess a commitment to the attitudes of professional social work. Since the physical attributes obtained the lowest responses, this study recommends that the physical attributes of a tourism officer be improved,particularly aware on their skin complexion, sense of style, good dental care, physically fit, pleasing personality and well-groomed. Generally, on attributes whether social, cultural and physical attributes of a tourism officers may compose the balanced personality of ones in the tourism service.
