The subjects of this study were the tourists in the selected tourist spot in Tanay, Rizal.  The researchers utilized descriptive method of research. The main instrument used in gathering the needed data was the questionnaire checklist to gather the needed information.  The questionnaire checklist was composed of questions containing the factors considered in the Status of Public Transportation in Selected Tourist Destination in Tanay, Rizal.  The researchers used systematic sample technique to get the one hundred (100) tourists in the selected tourist destination in Tanay, Rizal. In addition, the respondents have the capacity to answer all the essential information needed in this study.  To determine the result of the study, the results were tallied and tabulated, analyzed and interpreted with the aid of frequency, percentage, rank distribution and one-way ANOVA.  Findings revealed that majority of the respondents were female and mostly 41-50 years old, single and uses tricycle as their mode of transportation.  It also found out that with regards to accessibility, it revealed that there are signage to easily find the terminals. It also revealed that in terms of affordability there is available mode of transportation that is either rent for a day or pay for one way trip only. It also showed that in terms of safety, it revealed that the protection and security is highly provided for every passenger.  Based on the data gathered, the null hypothesis was accepted, therefore, there is no significant difference on the perception of the respondents on the status of public transportation in selected tourists destination in Tanay, Rizal in terms of civil status and age.  Based on the result of the study the researchers formulated these recommendations: the land transportation office has to improve their guidelines about road safety in Tanay, Rizal. The land transportation office also has to make sure that the drivers of the public transportation will obey the rules and regulation like the transportation fare in Tanay, Rizal and see to it that the drivers have the list of tariff in their vehicles. Tanay Municipal has to establish more terminals that were accessible to the tourist destination and to the town proper. The local government should add more directional signage that were all readable in order to avoid misdirection going to the public transportation terminal. Moreover, the tourist office or the municipality of Tanay should provide mass transport for tourist.
