The research utilized qualitative method to gather insights from a diverse group of participants, examining their experiences, teaching methods, and the specific challenges they encountered in the classroom. The findings revealed that the participants exhibited significant strengths in several areas critical to effective teaching. These included the ability to forge strong relationships with students, adherence to ethical teaching practices, creativity in lesson planning, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. However, these good educators also faced considerable challenges. Notably, they expressed concerns about limited opportunities for research and professional development, as well as difficulties in balancing their teaching responsibilities with additional commitments, including administrative tasks and personal obligations. Participants shared various innovative strategies to address their students' diverse needs to enhance engagement and affirming cultural heritage to create a more relatable learning environment. These approaches highlight the adaptability of good science teachers, who go beyond instruction to support their students' well-being and personal growth. The research also revealed that while science teachers face common challenges, their individual experiences and responses vary significantly. It also highlighted the critical role of technology in contemporary science education, as participants emphasized its ability to enhance student engagement and facilitate effective leaming, particularly during pandemic-related disruptions. Many recognized the importance of mastering content and using instructional scaffolding to build a strong foundation before developing higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). In conclusion, the study calls for a multifaceted approach to support good science teachers. good science high school teachers exhibit strong relationships with students, ethical teaching practices, creativity in lesson planning, and inclusive learning environments, all of which contribute to their effectiveness.
