Liceno Geronimo Memorial National High School during school year 2017-2018 The qualitativelquantitative methods of research saing documentary analysis was employed in this study. The sources of data were validated checklist questionnaire for the students and validated interview guide for parents and teachers. Simple random technique was used to get the 50 student respondenta 5 teachers and parents. The researchers used frequency and percentage distribution, weighted mean computed value and one-way Annova ware used flased on the gathered at the friding are as follows Most of the student respondents were female average learners and preferred both printed and online reading. The identified attitudes of students towards reading in terms of environment was peaceful; reading preferences, academic books; reading motivation, interesting and productive; reading techniques, reading carefully the whole text; reading practices, part of the learning process to gain more knowledge. There is no significant difference in reading environment, reading techniques, reading practices when they are grouped according to their profile in terms of sex, previous grade in English and types of reading materials while there is significant difference in reading preferences in terms of sex and reading motivation in terms of previous grade in English. The parents and teachers encountered lack of interest, distracted, and unmotivated. Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions are drawn: The students are proficient in reading printed materials and adept in utilizing technology in reading. The learners are purposive readers, they only read if they have recitation, assignments, and examination. The leamers differ in the reading preferences and their eagerness to read affects their grades. The students' attention were diverted due to too much use of gadgets and the reading materials are not suited to catch the interest of the students. Based on the conclusions, the following are hereby recommended. They students should read often to broaden their knowledge and to understand the importance of reading in order to fill their mind with the knowledge that they may use as a medium to attain a good academic performance: The parents should provide their children with reading materials that will encourage them to read and help them discover the purpose and benefits of reading; English Teachers should teach students how to use reading comprehension strategies and give them reading choices and the opportunity to learn by collaborating with their peers; Future Researchers should conduct similar studies involving other variables in reading enhancement ER -
