R59 .B4562 2018 KW - employers' feedback on job performance N2 - This study aimed to know the employers' feedback on job performance of Bachelor of Science in Office Administration graduates. The respondents of the study were 32 selected SOA graduates and their Employers from different companies. The descriptive method of research was employed in this study using questionnaire-checklist as the main instrument. The obtained results from the study were tallied, computed and interpreted using the appropriate statistical treatment. Frequency and percentage distribution were used to analyze the general profile of the respondents. Mean was used to know the Job Performance of SOA Graduates and the recommendations of employers to improve their performance. From the gathered data, the following findings were drawn: On the profile of the respondents in terms of age, most of the employers belonged to age bracket 36 and above with a frequency 17 or 53 percent while most of graduates belonged to age bracket 20-25 with a frequency 30 or 94 percent. In terms of sex most of the employers were male with a frequency of 18 or 60 percent while majority of the graduates were female with a frequency of 28 or 90 percent. In terms of civil status, 19 employers or 60 percent were married while all of the graduates were single with a frequency of 32 or 100 percent. In terms of current position 11 of the graduates or 35 percent were office clerk/staff while 9 among the employers were supervisor with a frequency of 9 or 28 percent. On the job performance of the BOA graduates on their current employment in terms of productivity, efficiency and adaptability the average means were 4.6, 4.5 and 4.5 respectively verbally interpreted as outstanding. On the recommendation of the employers to maintain the job performance of BSOA graduates the school should maintain different seminars and invite speakers from outside of the school to enlighten the students about the course as the most prevailing one. In the light of foregoing findings, the following conclusions were drawn: Most of the SOAgraduates are working to the position they are expected to be employed. BOA graduates are considered by their employers as assets. Hence, their performance is rated as outstanding. Enhancing the BSOA program holistically ensures its responsiveness to the business world. In the light of the finding in conclusions stated above the researchers recommended the following: BOAStudents should continue honing their skill in order tobecome assets in their future employment. Thus, a better contributor to the productivity of the offices or agencies they will be working on. Employers should motivate their employees in order to sustain to their productivity and commitment to their work. They should continue analyzing the performance of their employees and evaluating them how to make employees more committed to their work without exemptions of rewards or bonuses and to have equally relationship to each other. BSOAGraduates should keep their relationship in the workplace with their co-workers for them to feel comfortable of what they are doing to accomplish their job well. Future Researchers may undertake similar study related on this research work using different sets of variables ER -
