Samantha P. Delos Santos, and Jane Meryll O. San Luis, Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration students majoring in Financial Management at the
University of Rizal System - Binangonan, during the Academic Year 2025-2026.
The study aimes to determine the viability of establishing a Pinoy Burrito
food stall that combines Mexican-style wraps with traditional Filipino flavors. The business targets students, workers, and local families looking for quick,
affordable, and flavorful meals.
According to market research, sales are expected to reach P2,592,000 in
Year 1 and P2,805,664 in Year 5, with a 2% annual growth rate. 34% of sales are
for beef burritos, compared to 33% for chicken and fish burritos. The stall's
production capacity is in line with consumer demand, guaranteeing steady
product quality and providing flexibility for growth.
To get the demand of the product, the proponents acquire a copy of the
population of Darangan Binangonan, Rizal in the municipal office. Then, the
proponents surveyed the target market's necessity and willingness to purchase
the product.
The product significantly contribute to
Darangan Binangonan, Rizal
economy's. The product can also be introduced to other neighboring towns unto
the whole region of Rizal and eventually will be promoted nationwide, It will
improve the living of its owner and their environment.
The annual cost of goods produced starts at P2,592,000, which includes
raw materials for chicken, beef, and fish. The financial plan includes other
operating expenses including utilities, payroll, marketing, office supplies, and
permits. Salaries include contributions to SSS, PAG-IBIG, and PhilHealth. Net
income after tax is expected to rise from P611,465.50 in Year 1 to P657,928.08
by Year 5. The business's ROl ranges from 470% to 505%, Indicating significant
profitability compared to its beginning capital of P130,000. The business has secured all necessary permits and registrations,
including DTI Business Name Registration, Mayor's Permit, FDA Permit, BIR
Registration, and Barangay Clearance and Health Certificates. Pinoy Burrito also
commits to social responsibility by promoting fair employment, affordable meals
for households, and environmentally conscious operations through proper waste
management.
In conclusion, this study confirms that establishing Pinoy Burrito in
Darangan, Binangonan, Rizal is financially feasible, socially responsible, and
legally compliant, making it a ready and sustainable business venture that can
contribute positively to the community and local economy.
