The researcher conducted a feasibility study entitled Production of Coffee Ground Natural Insect Repellent Stick. The business is located in Baras, Rizal. It was proposed by the proponents to know if the business would become possible within the area. The researcher objectives for the proposed project is to evaluate the viability and effectiveness of generating coffee grounds as a natural insect repellent stick in the barangay of Santiago Baras, Rizal. The researchers also aim to provide insect repellent that is affordable and convenient to people. The business will be in the form of Partnership. The chosen project was about natural insect repellent stick that is made out of coffee grounds. Ensuring healthy, clean and safe environment is essential for us to avoid different kind of diseases. A crucial part of our daily routine is maintaining cleanliness and order. This is product is important as it prevents dangerous diseases like Dengue, Malaria and etc. caused by mosquito bite. Disease. It's important to every family and customers to have an effective yet affordable repellent that they can use The business will also be getting advice from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) on the safety of its ingredients and product claims. The business also complies with everything thaf's needed to run the business. The business will be a sole proprietorship, the owner's name is Catherine C. Geronimo, a Filipino citizen living in Barangay Santiago Baras Rizal. It is where the Natural Insect Repellent Stick will be produced. The business will have a manager, production manager, marketing associate and helper. The inclusive months of the project is November to Decembers 2023. The researchers made a survey in Barangay Santiago Baras, Rizal and as they conducted an online survey. It shows the willingness of potential customers, 93% of the respondents are willing to try and purchase Natural Insect Repellent Stick. The total stores in Barangay Santiago and near barangays is 37. The total demand of the Hibiscus Dishwashing liquid is 4,152. The projected sales per year will increase with 5% while the percentage for willing to buy the product will remain. The researcher also ensures that their product is cheap and affordable, which is budget-friendly for their customers. In order to increase awareness of the company, the researchers will employ a range of marketing techniques, such as face-to-face sales and advertising that makes use of various social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The business will have a mini physical store but still produce the exact demand per month to all the stores in Baras. The product process includes all natural ingredients of a coil especially coffee grounds. The natural repellent scent is more pleasant than the usual colls since it does not have chemicals. The said product will target customers in various Baras, Rizal, locations. By implementing the tax and regulatory requirements that are essential to the business, the enterprise functions legaly. The government wil impose taxes on the business's income. In order to conduct business legally, the company will obtain a permit from the BIR and register with the DTI. Each employee of the company will also be registered for future benefits through SSS, PAG IBIG, and PhilHeath. The business will comply all the requirements enable for the business to run successfully in the industry. The business' projected capital is 100,000.00, it is enough to be the working capital of the business and will come from the owner's savings. Business will have a 5% percent increase in sales, based on the total demand annually. Utilities and supplies expenses will increase 1% every year. Employees will benefit SSS, PAGIBIG and PhilHealth that computed based on the prevailing rate.
