Dissertation note: Undergraduate Thesis Bachelor of Science in Office Administration Major in Office Management University of Rizal System, Rodriguez, Rizal 2019 Summary: This study aimed to know the problems encountered by stenographers in trial courts and how this study could help the respondents and future stenographers to find solutions and alternatives for future essentiality. The subject of this study was court stenographers represented...Fifty (50) employees who answered the questionnaire-checklist provided by the researchers. This study was conducted at Justice Hall, Quezon City and Municipal Trial Court, Rodriguez, Rizal. Descriptive method of research with questionnaire checklist as instrument was utlized in this study. For better result and accuracy of interpretation of the gathered data the researchers used the following Statistical Treatment; Frequency, Percentage and. Ranking, weighted mean and One-way Based on the analysis of data and results obtained, the findings are summarized as follows On profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender and length. of service, the problems encountered by stenographers in trial courts in terms of age, the majority of the respondents were about 36-40 years old and 46-50 years old both got a frequency of 9 or 18 percent. In terms of sex majority of them were females who got a frequency of 40 or 80 percent. In terms of length it reason ar of service, majority of the respondents have been in the service for 1-6 years and 16-20 years of service both got a frequency of 11 or 22 percent. On problems encountered by stenographers in trial courts in terms of environmental working condition, personal condition and social working condition: The problems encountered by stenographers in trial courts in terms You sent environmental working condition obtained the average mean of 3.75 and verbally interpreted as Agree. Uninvited noise hinders court stenographers" concentration in taking dictation had a weighted mean of 4.48 and verbally interpreted as Strongly Agree In terms of personal condition it obtained the average weighted mean of 3.48 and verbally interpreted as Agree and stress hinders court stenographer skills had a weighted mean of 414 On the other hand social. working condition obtained the average weighted mean of: 1*3.26 and verbally interpreted as Agree. On the extent of the problems encountered by court stenographers in social working condition, spontaneous speaking during court hearings confuses court stenographer while taking dictation is had a weighted mean of 4.86 and client's weak voice during court proceedings is ranked 2 with a weighted mean of 4,82 On significant difference of the problems encountered by stenographers in trial courts in terms of age, gender and length of service, there is no significant. difference between the problems encountered by stenographers in trial court when they are grouped according to their profile. Based from the enumerated findings the following conclusions were drawn: Stenographers work in trial courts where mostly preferred by women. Stenographers encountered problems in their work are pacified due to their better relationship to one another. Regardless of the profile of the respondents,. stenographers perceived the stenographers problems in taking dictation similarly. Based from the results obtained the researchers highly recommend You sent the following: Court stenographers should be provided with pertinent trainings, to enhance their skills to overcome external problems, in the courtroom. Court administrator should devise an action plan based on the problems encountered by court stenographers such as orientation of witnesses to louder their voice, limit the audience and prohibit late comers to prevent distractions to stenographers. Future stenographers should be aware of the factors that hinder court stenographers in taking dictation so they should know how to manage them. Future researchers should conduct a parallel study using other possible variables in order to deepen the present study
