Thesis College of Science University of Rizal System-Morong 2024
Motorcycles are one of the common sources of transportation for school services among college students at the University of Rizal System (Morong, Rizal). This increase in demand has resulted in overcrowded motorcycle parking areas, and sometimes students have a conflict to park their motorcycles This study seeks to determine the overall land area dedicated to parking spaces at the University, with a particular emphasis to identifying the total carrying capacity of the selected parking spaces inside the university using the derived formula of the area of a rectangle and associated with the area of a parallelogram. In addition to that, the researcher will differentiate the capacity of the 45° parking and 90° parking. The study reveals that 90° angle parking can accommodate more vehicles than 45° parking. This study promotes efficient use of the university’s parking space to increase the accommodation of different vehicles. Keywords: Parking Capacity, Motorcycles, 4-wheeled vehicle, 90°parking angle, 45°parking angle
