EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop a Multi-Purpose Solar-Powered Automotive Creeper out of locally available materials. The study designed and constructed a Multi-Purpose Solar-Powered Automotive Creeper and performed try-out and revision. The study determined the level of acceptability in terms of design, durability, functionality, safety and maintenance, as evaluated by the experts and end users. The study also determines the level of performance in terms of charging time, discharging time, and load capacity. The study utilized the descriptive and developmental research methods to show the project's development process, the respondents included ten experts, from Automotive, Mechanical and Electrical Technology, and twenty end-users from Automotive students, evaluated the final output to determine its acceptability, to reveal the project's importance and benefits for the automotive students and technicians in small auto shops. The designs of the Multi-Purpose Solar-Powered Automotive Creeper were collected ideas from the internet, books, and related studies from unpublished thesis and variety of defects was found out through try-out and revision methods before successfully finished the construction of the car creeper. Based on the results, as evaluated by the respondents, it was found out that the Multi-Purpose Solar-Powered Automotive Creeper was "Extremely Accepted," in both experts and end-users, in terms of design, durability, functionality, safety and maintenance. The study concluded that the project is beneficial for the mechanic, that can work in auto repair shops and help mechanics to check and repair under the car more easily to work under the car safely and faster. The study recommends using lighter type of steel or metal to become lighter in production of tool cart and also consider the cost of the materials. The University and the researchers should consider the registered design protection of the innovation when the industry would like to acquire it for mass production. Further: study should be conducted considering other variables.
