Dissertation note: Undergraduate theses Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Social Studies University of Rizal System Rodriguez, Rizal year of 2024 Summary: This study delves into the perspectives surrounding the inclusion of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) into the curriculum at Southville 8 Elementary School. The purpose was to discern the viewpoints of teachers and parents regarding the necessity, content, structure, and implementation of such education. Employing a descriptive qualitative design, data was gathered through checklist assessments and interviews conducted with twenty (20) teachers and thirty (30) parents to come up with a total of fifty (50) respondents selected randomly from the school community, during the academic year 2023-2024. Findings revealed a consensus among both teachers and parents on the importance of including CSE in the curriculum. They identified key topics spanning physical, psychological, emotional, moral, and social dimensions, emphasizing the holistic nature of sexuality education. Reasons cited for inclusion ranged from addressing prevalent challenges such as teenage pregnancy to fostering open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity. Divergent opinions emerged regarding whether CSE should be a standalone subject or integrated into existing curricula, with considerations for developmental appropriateness and pedagogical feasibility. The study underscores the necessity of a multidimensional approach in designing the CSE curriculum to effectively address real-life issues while considering the cognitive levels and age appropriateness of students. Implementation challenges such as teaching sensitive topics and integrating CSE into existing curricula were highlighted. The findings advocate for a comprehensive approach to CSE that not only imparts knowledge but also instills values, promotes healthy behaviors, and respects diverse cultural contexts. This research provides valuable insights for policymakers and educational stakeholders in formulating evidence-based policies for the integration of CSE into elementary school curricula. The researchers also recommend that an extensive study would be conducted further by taking into account the perspective from all-levels of basic education in order to draw a more comprehensive result. Also, the perspective of other respondents', both internal and external, would be included by the future researchers so as to garner the valuable viewpoints that the respondents could offer. Furthermore, The researchers endorse that the future researchers should take account of the students perspective in the matter, especially from levels that are deemed to be able to comprehend and express their stand
