Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology Major in Electrical Technology University of Rizal System-Morong 2024 Summary: This study entitled "Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan" aimed to design and build a temperature and smoke sensor based for AC exhaust fan which can turn on and off automatically depending on temperature and air quality. This study aimed to design and construct, perform try-out and revisions, evaluate the level of acceptability of the Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan in terms of design, functionality, usefulness, safety and maintenance, determine the significant difference on the Developed Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan and Existing Temperature and Smoke Exhaust Fan, as evaluated by two groups of respondents, and lastly the level of performance in terms of sensitivity. This study was conducted at University of Rizal System Morong Campus during the Academic Year 2023-2024. Developmental, descriptive and experimental methods were used because these provide a systematic process that aids in the conducting the study. A research made questionnaire checklist was utilized to determine the level of acceptability of the devices in terms of variables mentioned. The formula of weighted mean and T-value were used as the statistical treatment of the study. There were thirty (20) respondents consisting of ten (10) Electrical and Electronics Technology expert and twenty (10) end-users, who participated in this study were chosen using the purposive sampling technique. On the Design and Construction of the Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan was constructed from locally available materials. Then, on the Try-out and revisions the researchers conducted several trails to try. improved and developed the Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan. The findings showed that the developed device in terms of design, the device is extremely acceptable for end-users and expert. In terms of functionality, it is extremely functional to end-users and expert. In terms of usefulness the device is extremely useful to the end-users and expert. In terms of safety, it is extremely safe to end-users and expert. Lastly in terms of maintenance the Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan is extremely maintainable as perceived by the end-users and experts and in terms of sensitivity verbally interpreted as extremely sensitive. With regards to the findings, there is no significant difference in the evaluation made by two groups of respondents on the level of acceptability of the Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan and the Existing Temperature and Smoke Exhaust Fan for design, functionality, and usefulness. On the other hand, there is a significant difference in the evaluation made by the two groups of respondents on the level of acceptability of the Temperature and Smoke Sensor-Based for AC Exhaust Fan and the Existing Temperature and Smoke Exhaust Fan for safety, and maintenance. Based on the formulated findings and conclusion, these are the following recommendations. Putting a buzzer for future development of the study, Further study on the overall design including the appearance, the chassis and the circuitry of the device, Making the power supply of the Arduino and the Exhaust fan as one and Further study on the overall functionality including analyzing its sensitivity to temperature and smoke.
