This study entitled “Development and Evaluation of Worksheets as Enhancement Materials in Teaching Algebra for Grade 7 Learners” aimed to develop worksheets as enhancement materials in teaching Algebra for seventh-grade learners during the School Year 2022-2023 at Vicente Madrigal Integrated School in Binangonan, Rizal. This study focused on the least-mastered competencies of grade 7 learners in the field of Mathematics, particularly in Algebra. These are solving problems involving Venn diagrams, solving problems involving real numbers, performing operations on rational numbers, and performing operations on integers. The researchers used descriptive and developmental research designs to answer the questions raised in the statement of the problem, which included how the output was developed, the evaluation by the teacher-respondents, and their comments and suggestions for further improvement of the developed materials. The worksheets were developed based on the gathered least-mastered competencies of the learners in Mathematics 7 and how they will enhance their mathematical skills as they answer the worksheets. The output was validated and revised before it was shown to the selected junior high school Mathematics teachers of Algebra from Vicente Madrigal Integrated High School for it to be evaluated. The results revealed that the developed worksheets received a grand mean of 4.43 with the verbal interpretation of Very Much Accepted. The teacher-respondents provided comments and suggestions for the betterment of the output like enhancing the organization and presentation of the worksheets, making the directions easy to understand, prioritizing the content, and providing how the learners will be convinced to answer the worksheets. In conclusion, the findings demonstrated that the evaluators were satisfied with the worksheets, signifying that it is appropriate to be implemented in classroom instruction by the teachers to enhance their teaching in Mathematics, particularly in Algebra, for seventh-grade learners. With that in mind, the researchers recommended that students should consider enhancing their least-mastered competencies in Mathematics, particularly in Algebra, by solving and answering worksheets that can help them develop their mathematical skills. Moreover, the developed worksheets are recommended for enhancing the least-mastered competencies and developing the skills of Grade 7 learners in Mathematics, particularly in Algebra. Also, there must be a follow-up study in the development of worksheets as enhancement materials in teaching Mathematics, particularly Algebra, for Grade 7 learners.
