The focus of the study is developing a learning material that differs from what was being used by the learners today and was anchored to the different teaching and learning strategies. It is to address the topics from the least-mastered competencies in the 3rd Quarter of Mathematics 10 which was identified and acquired from the Chairperson of Math Department with the permission from the DepEd Division Office. In this study, the researchers utilized the descriptive and developmental methods of research in answering the research questions which includes the development process and analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing the results of evaluation from the experts. On the process of collecting data, the researchers adopted an evaluation checklist from the Learning Resource Management and Development System (LRMDS) to evaluate and validate the developed learning material. This adopted evaluation checklist targeted the evaluation of the developed output in terms of content, language and style, organization and presentation, and usefulness. The output of this study was developed using the format of Strategic Intervention Material (SIM) and Canva software for its template. The activities included in the learning material were created simple, comprehensible, and in accordance to the level of reading and understanding of the learners. The researchers ensured the clarity of the directions and the overall presentation of the output to be pleasing in the eyes of the learners by making it colorful by including pictures for examples. It was also enhanced and revised according to the feedbacks and suggestions from the validators, ensuring the quality and credibility of the developed learning material. It was evaluated in terms of its content, language and style, organization and presentation, and usefulness. The findings drawn from the evaluation indicated that the developed learning material received a “Very Much Acceptable” rating, which suggests that the experts are favorable to the learning material. Although the output needed some improvements, the overall rating indicated that the learning material is highly acceptable to the experts in terms of the evaluation factors used and had a potential to be used in teaching and learning process. Based on the conclusion, the following recommendations were offered: the activities may be utilized as practice exercises in the process of teaching and learning. The effectiveness of the material can be tested by the future researchers and they are suggested to improve, enhance, and put additional activities for the betterment of the learning material in Probability for grade 10 learners.
