The experimental method was used particularly to complete random designs to determine the effectiveness of guava leaves which can test the hypothesis concerning the Effectiveness and Acceptability of Psiduim guajava Linn. (Guava) as Antifungal Soap. The experiment was conducted using 53.6 grams/ 1 cup of guava leaves, 825 ml water/3 cups, 1,375 ml of oil/ 5 cups and with 275 ml/ 1 cup of sodium hydroxide. Weighted mean was used to compute the level of effectiveness in different skin diseases including the ringworm (Dermatophytosis), athelete's foot (Tineapedis) and scabies and same with the acceptability testing. There are 10 respondents with respect to skin diseases used the guava soap. They are also the one who evaluated the acceptability testing in terms of physical properties of the guava soap. Based on the experimentation, Effectiveness and Acceptability of Psidiums guajava Linn. (Guava) as an Antifungal Soap has proven to be effective against different skin diseases caused by fungal infection, within a week. The guava soap can be use as safe and effective antifungal soap. The following findings were formulated. The computed weighted mean in determining the effectiveness level of Psidium guajava Linn. (guava)as an antifungal soap, was rated as moderately effective. There is no significant difference on the level of effectiveness of the Psidium guajava Linn.on skin diseases of the respondents. There is a significant difference in the acceptability of Psidium guajava in terms of physical properties as evaluated by 10 respondents. Based on the findings of this study, the following conclusions were hereby drawn. The level of effectiveness of the Psidium guajava as antifungal soap is confirmed to be moderately effective. The level of acceptability in terms of physical properties is confirmed acceptable. Therefore, there is no significant difference on the level of effectiveness of Psidium guajava Linn. (Guava)as an antifungal soap.In the same manner, the level of the acceptability of Psidium guajava Linn. (Guava) as an antifungal soap significantly differ as evaluated by the respondents.
